Have you ever wondered why it was that events like covenant making, cleansing of leprosy, initiation of the priesthood, moedim, and other ritualistic events tend to occur over a period of time? Did you know that this is based on the Rites of Passage, a ritual that we even observe in parts of our lives today? In this teaching, we will take an in depth look at the function of these rites and show plenty of examples where these Rites (though not called as such) were incorporated throughout Scripture. This will help us to gain a much better understanding of many key passages that have been puzzling for years. This will also open a whole new outlook on the writings of Paul! Did you know that Paul was writing in context of these rites and when you understand the three parts, you can easily see which area of the Rites Paul is referring to. Turns out Paul was actually pretty smart!
This is a 3.5 hour teaching and also includes a Concept Block short video that summarizes the teaching. Power Point and print outs are available at Rooted-in-Torah.com
